PAL INDONESIA participated in project of panas bumi power plant
PAL INDONESIA participated in project of panas bumi power plant. This ship building industry obtaining the ordered for building the panas bumi power plan at East Nusa Tenggara , totally ordered 110 milliar rupiah. According to President Director Pal Indonesia Mr. Harsusanto, the building of this project started on this month and estimatted up to 15 months. This is the first time Pal Indonesia get the order to build the panas bumi power plant, he said on Saturday 9/2/08.
Ex-President Director of Barata Indonesia said that the project of panas bumi power plan hopefully can be as an entry point for Pal Indonesia to coming in to the other panas bumi power plan project. This is correlation with the program of the government to use the energy alternative.
He also said that one of the areal which prepared for developing the panas bumi power plant is East Java. There are eleven potencial point spread over at East Java province. Pal Indonesia ready to develop other alternative energy project, such as solarcell energy, water,winds,and waves.
This project of panas bumi power plant will increased the cabability of general engineering division of Pal Indonesia. Previously Pal Indonesia has been building the power plant of natural gas and steam.
He said, the General Engineering Division hopefully able to give the significant contribution beside the core business of Pal Indonesia as a shipbuilding industry. Until at the end of this year the general engineering division has been targetted able to contribute up to 35% from income of Pal Indonesia 1,4 trilyun rupiah.
Head of General Engineering Division Mr. Agus Budianto said, this year Pal Indonesia also manufacturing Oil and Gas Construction. That are onshore project Santos fase two pipenation of Oyong Gas Madura- Grati Pasuruan a long 23 kilometers, the value USD 20 million. We also get the offering to cooperation with scale international company for manufacturing other onshore facilities, he said. Pal Indonesia also used the increasing of the demand for the power plant project. For the time being,Pal Indonesia obtaining the Contract for two projects: the project belong to the Alstom Swiss and Mitsubishi Jepang. The value of each project USD 2 – 3 million. Besides that Pal Indonesia also manufacturing the small project belong to Siemens. Last year Pal Indonesia has been delivered the Oil and Gas Project belong to the Codeco at Ujung Pangkah, the value USD 35 million, he said.
