PAL INDONESIA will improve the Revenue up to 1,4 Trilyun rupiah from realization in 2007 About 1,2 Trilyun rupiah, Mostly this improvement hopely come from the new shipbuilding.
This state owned enterprices also try to improve the income from the general engineering products through the project of oil and gas construction and power plant, estimmatted this sector will obtaining the order up to 450 milyar rupiah.
President director PAL INDONESIA Mr. Harsusanto, said that Pal Indonesia this year will finished the order of new shipbuilding especially the commercialships order. Mr.Harsusanto said, Pal Indonesia will focuss on the contract of new commercialship building the types of Box Shape Bulk Carrier (BSBC) up to 50.000 dead weight ton in the international market familiar with “ STAR 50 “ also thanker up to 30.000 LTDW
Two tipes of the obove ships are the excellences product of Pal Indonesia, where every year able to produced two unit double skin bulk carrier and two unit tanker but he is not explained about the prices of every unit of the ship.
Our facilities are fully book up to 2009, and the ship must be submitted in this year about 14 unit ships. New shipbuilding project and general engineering project hopefully will obtain the contract up to 1,4 trilyun rupiah, he said last week.
THE PRICE OF STEEL IS HANDICAP Mr. Harsusanto realized that the increasing of the price of the steel will reduced the profit,so that Pal Indonesia will focuss on to improve the efficiency, that are to reduced the scrap of the material and also to faster the product coming out from dock.
We also asked to the general engineering division to widen its project not only looking for the oil and gas project but also power plant that are booming not only in the local but also in international market. General Engineering Division hopefully will distributted about 35% of the revenue in 2008.
General Manager of General Engineering Division PAL INDONESIA Mr. Agus Budianto said that at workshop now underconstructions are project for power plant and componnent of oil and gas, that are project for PLN power plant for panas bumi Ulumbu,totally 110 milyar rupiah and also facilities land gas processing at Grati,pasuruan, belong to Santos totally USD 23 million. Those project estimatted will be finished in the middle of 2009. Optimistically this year get the revenue bigger than in 2007, totally USD 35 million.
PAL INDONESIA got the project for Oil and Gas Construction and finishing the project last year, the project of Ameralda Hess Ujung Pangkah,Gresik and also the same project for Kodeco. PAL INDEONESIA also look for the project of construction and equipment industry for high technology in scale of international through synergy with the multinational company such as, Alstom Power, Mitsubishi and Siemen
